Idex, a French specialist in energy services, have announced that Patrick Corral is soon to join the company as Chief Operating Officer in charge of the “Greater South” area if France. Patrick Corral, 52, previously served in management  and development positions with both Veolia Environnement and the EDF.

Corral began his career in 1987 with Bouygues after obtaining an Arts and Crafts engineering degree and then joined Veolia in 1990 and EDF from 1994 to 1998 as Director of Projects for the South and East of France. In 2001 he joined Veolia Environnement as Chief Operating Officer for the Central and Mediterranean region with Dalkia, then in 2006 he became Director of the Central Eastern Zone and Switzerland for Veolia transport.

Corral has served as Director and Customer Development for EDF since 2010 and was also a member of the executive committee.
