The Energy Technology Environment Association (ATEE) is organizing a day dedicated to the problems and challenges of the cogeneration sector in France, to be held on the 8th of April 2015 in Paris. This event will be an opportunity to revisit the various working groups, set up through the initiative of the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy (MEDDE), which punctuated 2014.
In 2014, the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy assembled the major players in the cogeneration sector in working groups. The major themes that were addressed by the groups included support for renewable energy, analysing the consumption/self-production, new regulatory provisions for obligatory purchases and the capacity mechanism. The day of cogeneration, which is targeted at industry professionals, will provide feedback from the General Directorate for Energy and Climate (DGEC), OA EDF, RTE and ERDF. Industrialists, operators, manufacturers and equipment distributors will also share their experiences with attendees.
