Coriance

Coriance district heating and cooling networks

Coriance is an independent company operating in the field of energy services. Founded in 1998 by Gaz de France, the company is now independent and focuses its work on renewable energy and energy efficiency.

Solutions

Coriance concentrate their expertise in two major areas: district heating and cooling networks and decentralized equipment for energy production and distribution networks.

The company is involved throughout the entire energy chain, including:

1. In an advisor capacity, proposing suitable equipment and solutions.
2. In the design, construction and financing of equipment and optimizing the energy mix.
3. In the operation and maintenance of facilities in compliance with the relevant standards.
4. In optimizing and monitoring performance levels, improving yields and optimizing energy consumption.
To achieve these goals, Coriance relies on its expertise in the field of renewable energy, on its team of trained technicians and on its specialist salesforce.

Public service delegation in district heating and cooling

Coriance operates in the field of district heating, proposing solutions to primary heating networks, ie installations (geothermal, cogeneration, boilers etc.) for the production and delivery of energy to buildings and residences. In this area, the company specializes in renewable energy and therefore offers its customers the use of biomass, geothermal energy, energy recovery techniques or cogeneration as energy sources.

Energetic efficiency

Coriance is a leading provider of energy efficiency services, with the company working at 3 levels:

1. Supplying cost-optimized sustainable energy
2. Operating and maintaining heating and cooling installations
3. Carrying out maintenance, renewal or renovation work

60% of the energy supplied by Coriance therefore comes from renewable energy and over 80% of the heat is produced by green energy sources. In mid-2013, the energy mix was composed of the following:
• 26% biomass
• 21% of cogeneration
• 19% gas
• 18% of geothermal energy
• 16% of recovered energy

Who are its customers?

Coriance works with:
• local authorities
• owners and managers of public and private buildings
• health professionals
• teaching professionals
• industry professionals
The diversity of their clients’ sectors of activity does not prevent them from facing common problems, such as cost control, making use of local resources, the demand for good service, the need to meet the requisite standards and the desire to invest in a sustainable environmental approach. Coriance therefore develops customized solutions for its clients and their problems, whether these are general or specific issues.

Certification

In their drive to ensure the quality of service for its customers, Coriance have strived to obtain the necessary qualifications to reflect the company’s environmental and human rights commitments. So far, five sites have received a triple certification for ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14 0001 (Environment) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Safety). These five sites are the district heating plants in Castres, Chelles, Meaux, Toulouse and Villiers le bel.
